How Do Our Accounting Services Work?
Each client with our firm has a dedicated bookkeeper so there is one single, familiar point of contact. This person will work on your account and master your unique processes. We have you set up online access with “view only” permissions to your bank and business credit cards so that we can download transactions, statements and check images. Your bookkeeper will use these statements to account for all items of income, expense and properly identify asset, liability and equity transactions.
Please expect to have several emails with your bookkeeper for about the first 90 days as we become familiar with your business. After the first 90 days, there will be times when your bookkeeper will email you a short list of items that we could not identify in the prior month. You provide us a quick few words about each in an email back to your bookkeeper and then the month is closed. Reports are typically issued on the 15th of each month for the prior month.You keep your own receipts and do not need to mail them into our office.
